We are very lucky at Ilkley London to partner with small manufacturers who are passionate about what they do and help contribute to keeping historic industries alive within the UK. When we think about loungewear the perfect lazy day accessory is a pair of cosy socks, and we had three criteria: soft, natural and the perfect colour. We found one of the oldest surviving sock mills in the UK based in Bradford using wool yarn that's twisted to create gorgeous marls, who could match all of our needs. Take a look at our socks being made - what a great piece of engineering. It was really exciting to see our socks coming off those amazing knitting machines.
